Looking back at a milestone celebration in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture.
I had the honor of performing at the Shimane Bank 100th Anniversary Celebration held at Hotel Ichibata.
Symbol of Shimane: The Peony
To celebrate this momentous occasion in Matsue, I painted large, vibrant Peony flowers (Botan) on the background.
The Peony is the prefectural flower of Shimane and a symbol of prosperity and honor, setting a festive tone for the stage.
“Zutto Kansha, Motto Genki” (Always Grateful, More Energetic)
Against this floral backdrop, I wrote the 100th-anniversary slogan: 「ずっと感謝、もっと元気」.
This phrase translates to “Always Grateful, More Energetic.”
It encapsulates the bank’s core message:
- Gratitude: Cherishing the 100-year history of “bonds of trust” with customers.
- Energy: Moving forward with vitality to develop the local region.
I poured my strength into the brush to express this strong resolve connecting the past century to the future.
My sincere wishes for the continued prosperity and development of Shimane Bank.

2015年の活動記録です。
松江市のホテル一畑にて開催された、島根銀行様 創業100周年記念祝賀会で書道パフォーマンスを披露させていただきました。
島根のシンボル「牡丹」を背に
ステージ上の大きな紙には、まず島根県の県花でありシンボルでもある「牡丹（ぼたん）」の花を描きました。
大輪の花が咲き誇る華やかな背景の中に、記念すべき100周年のメッセージを揮毫しました。
揮毫：「ずっと感謝、もっと元気」
書いた言葉は、創業100周年記念ロゴマークにあるスローガン「ずっと感謝、もっと元気」。
この言葉には、深い想いが込められています。
100年という長きにわたるお客様との「信頼の絆」の歴史に「感謝」の心を持ち続け、地域を発展させるべく「元気」を持って前に進む。
その強い決意と地域への愛を、一筆一筆に込めて表現させていただきました。
これからも益々のご発展を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
