Looking back at a spectacular day in my hometown, Kawagoe, in October 2014.
As the first project of the “Kawagoe Style Club 10th Anniversary,” we invited the contestants of the “2014 Miss International Beauty Pageant” to Kawagoe.
Beauty representatives from approximately 80 countries gathered in this historic town known as “Little Edo.”

Performance at the Symbol of Kawagoe
I had the incredible honor of performing a calligraphy demonstration in front of the “Toki no Kane” (Time Bell Tower), the most iconic symbol of Kawagoe.
It has been a dream of mine to perform at this location. Welcoming the world’s beauty ambassadors at this historic spot was a deeply moving moment.

Collaboration with Traditional Festival Music
To provide the best “Omotenashi” (hospitality), I performed in collaboration with the “Nakadai Hayashi Renchu” (a traditional Japanese festival music group).
Surrounded by the festive sounds of Ohayashi and the international guests, I poured my heart into the brush to share the beauty of Japan, the charm of Kawagoe, and the spirit of Shodo.
It was a day where my 10 years of activities promoting Kawagoe to the world truly blossomed.
