16 Years Since the Duo Exhibition
We have arrived in Insadong, the historic district of traditional Korean art. This exhibition marks a significant return for Chosho Yabe; it has been exactly 16 years since her two-person exhibition with the esteemed Master Lee in 2009.
Back then, she stood alone as an artist. This time, however, she returns as a mentor, leading a study tour with the students of the Masumi Shodo Class. Walking these familiar streets with her disciples adds a profound layer of emotion to this journey.
A Night of Cultural Dialogue
Yesterday, the opening ceremony was held successfully. Chosho had the honor of delivering a congratulatory speech—a significant role that she fulfilled with grace, followed by a sigh of relief.
The evening concluded with a lively reception dinner, bringing together:
- Renowned Korean artists.
- Master Lee’s disciples (including professional designers).
- The visiting students from the Masumi Shodo Class.
Art transcends language. Witnessing the students interact with international creators and renewing old friendships made for a truly luxurious and unforgettable time.

芸術の街、仁寺洞（インサドン）へ
2009年、敬愛する李先生と二人展を開催して以来。実に16年ぶりに、思い出の地・仁寺洞に作品と共に帰ってまいりました。
今回の旅が特別なのは、私一人ではないということです。眞墨（Masumi）書道教室の門下生たちを連れ、研修旅行としてこの地を踏めたことに、指導者として深い感慨を覚えています。
国境を超える「書」の絆
昨日は無事に開会式が執り行われました。来賓挨拶という大役を仰せつかり緊張いたしましたが、なんとか務め上げ、今は安堵しております。
式の後は、韓国の作家の皆様、李先生のお弟子さんでプロとして活躍されるデザイナーの方々、そして私の門下生を交えての打ち上げ（交流会）が開催されました。
素晴らしい新たな出会いと、懐かしい仲間との再会。日韓のアートへの情熱が交錯する、贅沢で幸せな時間を過ごさせていただきました。
