Looking back at a grand event held at a sacred place of Japanese culture.
I performed at the “Fusion Forum,” an event hosted by a manufacturing company at the Ryogoku Kokugikan (Ryogoku Sumo Hall).
Calligraphy x Shamisen x Wadaiko
On the stage of this historic venue, I collaborated with two amazing musicians:
- Keisuke Ito (Shamisen player)
- Shinichiro Nagata (Wadaiko player)
Surrounded by the resonant sounds of the Shamisen and the powerful beat of the Japanese drums, I delivered a live calligraphy performance.

“Tsunagu” (Connect)
The character I wrote was 「繋」 (Tsuna-gu).
It means “Connect,” “Link,” or “Tie.”
Connecting people to people, technology to the future, and Japan to the world.
I poured my soul into this single character, wishing for strong bonds and lasting relationships to be forged.

Performing in such a magnificent arena, feeling the energy of the audience and the music, was truly an unforgettable experience.
